Hapa obviously can’t go on any real white water rafting trips with us. The trips that she freaks out about are all chill. She has a real problem with getting wet in general. She’s a smelly girl and hates a bath with warm water so cold snow melt (even in the summer) she’s not very happy about.

We went for a quick trip on the Upper C and since it was just us we decided to set up a shuttle for the car the night before and take a 10 minute trip so we could launch from the campsite the next morning. Hapa can’t resist jumping from the boat when she’s close to shore.

For such a lover of nature Hapa HATES bugs. Also, dirt and don’t even get me started on mud. She loves to be the boss of the neighborhood and if you ask me that’s what she loves most about camping. Being able to be a busy body and boss around other people (and dogs) that she sees. Really she’s just trying to get into the sleeping bags in the tent as soon as she can.
